O Grand Central Terminal de Nova Iorque mantém o título de um dos maiores terminais de transportes públicos do mundo. Por dia, passam pelo seu interior cerca de 750 mil pessoas. Estende-se por quase 20 hectares e todos os dias passam pelas suas linhas 700 comboios.
